Field Quality Assurance Plan

Field Quality Assurance Plan - Field Quality Assurance plans refers to the quality document that lists the checks and tests to be performed on the equipment at the various stages of the erection and commissioning at site. Broadly the overall quality management aspect for equipment can be broken into

  1. Manufacturing Quality Assurance Plan (MQAP) - which defines the tests that are to be done on the equipment from the raw material stage to the dispatch of the equipment from factory/works to Site.
  2. Field Quality Assurance Plan (FQAP) - which defines the tests that are to be done on the equipment from the receipt of material at site to its readiness for the field acceptance tests(FAT).

tBits CollabWrite - Inspection Call Management module enables the contractors, manufacturers, owners and third party inspection agencies to collaboratively track all the tests that are to be done on the equipment as listed in the MQAP's and FQAP's including the initiation of the Inspection Calls, Decision on the inspection calls, generation of material dispatch clearance certificates etc.

FQAP is an integral part of the overall project quality control and assurance plan aimed towards ensuring minimum challenges at the time of plant commissioning and start-up.
